Two motorcycle riders die in Bronx crash at Commerce and Newbold
A 21-year-old motorcycle driver and a 13-year-old passenger died at Commerce Avenue and Newbold Avenue, where police told amNY the riders crashed into a tree at high speed.

According to the police report, a 21-year-old unlicensed rider on a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle tried to turn left on Commerce Avenue near Newbold Avenue in the Bronx just before 1 a.m. Police recorded unsafe speed and improper turning. The rider and his 13-year-old passenger were both ejected, hit the pavement headfirst, and sustained fatal head injuries. Both were pronounced dead at the scene overnight.
