An 82-year-old man started crossing Quincy Street with the signal. A left-turning SUV driver hit his head and left him on the pavement; he did not survive.

What We Know

According to the police report, an 82-year-old man was walking in the crosswalk at Quincy Street and Marcy Avenue in Brooklyn, crossing with the signal, when a driver in a station wagon/SUV making a left turn hit him in the head. The pedestrian suffered a fatal head injury and was recorded as unconscious with bleeding. He died from his injuries. The SUV had no reported damage.
