According to the police report, around 2:50 p.m. a sedan driver turning left onto the southbound New England Thruway entrance ramp from Pelham Parkway collided with a westbound motorcycle. Police recorded unsafe speed as a contributing factor. The 20-year-old motorcycle rider and his 17-year-old passenger were ejected and killed.
