A driver turning onto the New England Thruway ramp hit a westbound motorcycle on Pelham Parkway. The 20‑year‑old rider and his 17‑year‑old passenger were ejected and killed; a 3‑year‑old girl in the sedan was also hurt.

According to the police report, around 2:50 p.m. a sedan driver turning left onto the southbound New England Thruway entrance ramp from Pelham Parkway collided with a westbound motorcycle. Police recorded unsafe speed as a contributing factor. The 20-year-old motorcycle rider and his 17-year-old passenger were ejected and killed. A 3-year-old girl riding in the sedan’s rear seat was reported injured and unconscious at the scene on a Sunday afternoon.
