Overnight Triborough crash kills car driver
A 55-year-old car driver slammed into the back of a backhoe on the Triborough Bridge before dawn and died from crushing head injuries. The backhoe driver survived with neck trauma in the rear-end hit.

The car driver was killed with crush injuries to his head. The backhoe’s 35-year-old driver survived with neck injuries and whiplash.
