Motorcyclist Runs Red, Dies Hitting BMW
A 27-year-old rider on Monticello Avenue blew a traffic control and hit a BMW’s side. He flew off the Honda, his head taking the full force. He died there in the Bronx evening, another rider gone on a short city block.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 27-year-old man riding a Honda motorcycle northbound on Monticello Avenue near Strang Avenue hit the left side doors of an eastbound BMW sedan. Police recorded “Traffic Control Disregarded” for the rider. He was ejected, suffered fatal head injuries and died at the scene on a Saturday evening in the Bronx.
