Driver Charged After Passenger Dies in Castle Hill Crash

According to the police report, around 12:49 a.m. on Castle Hill Avenue near Randall Avenue in the Bronx, the 27-year-old male driver of a sedan disregarded a traffic signal and hit a station wagon/SUV head-on. The 27-year-old female front-seat passenger in his car, who was belted, sustained fatal injuries to her entire body. Police recorded “Traffic Control Disregarded” as the contributing factor in the crash.
A passenger died after a late-night crash

The Daily News reported that a 43-year-old man driving a 2011 Lincoln MKX north on Castle Hill Avenue hit a 27-year-old man driving a 2017 Infiniti west on Randall Avenue. The impact sent the Infiniti northwest before the driver hit a parked, unoccupied 2018 Honda Pilot, according to the article.
Dorilys Ramos was killed; others were taken to Jacobi
The official record identifies the person killed as a 27-year-old female front-seat passenger. The Daily News named her as Dorilys Ramos, 27, and reported that she lived nearby in Clason Point and was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center.
