According to the police report, a southbound van driver changed lanes on McDonald Avenue near Bay Parkway in Brooklyn and hit a station wagon/SUV. The 54-year-old SUV driver, belted in his seat, was killed with internal injuries to his entire body. A 50-year-old woman riding in the front passenger seat of the van sustained a fracture in the abdomen and pelvis area. Police recorded unsafe lane changing for the van driver.
