Carl Calabro died after the crash
Police identified the pedestrian as 60-year-old Carl Calabro. Gothamist reported that emergency responders took him to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said one child was riding the school bus at the time. Emergency medical workers evaluated the child, who was released to a parent.
