Unlicensed Rider Dies After Hitting FDNY Truck
A 30-year-old unlicensed motorcyclist hit a southbound FDNY truck on Flatbush Avenue at Avenue U late Sunday night. Police recorded unsafe speed. The rider was ejected and killed; five people in the fire truck were not seriously hurt.

According to the police report, a 30-year-old man driving a motorcycle west on Flatbush Avenue hit a southbound fire apparatus at Avenue U late Sunday night in Brooklyn. Police recorded unsafe speed and noted that the motorcycle driver was unlicensed. The rider was ejected and died of crush injuries to his entire body. Five occupants of the fire truck, including its driver, were not seriously injured.
