Rider dies after divider collision on Jackie Robinson Parkway

What We Know
Daniel Moore, 39, of Floral Park was riding east on the Jackie Robinson Parkway near Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood when he was involved in a collision with a concrete divider, police said. Moore was ejected from his motorcycle. Officers found him unresponsive on the roadway, and emergency responders took him to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The crash was recorded at 12:01 a.m. on June 26, 2025. Police said their investigation remained ongoing and no arrests had been made as of June 27.
The collision
Moore, a 39-year-old Floral Park resident, was riding a black 2010 Harley-Davidson Super Glide east on the parkway. Police said he was ejected after a collision with a concrete divider.
Near Cypress Avenue
The collision occurred on the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Ridgewood, near Cypress Avenue where the road passes through Highland Park. Police identified a concrete divider at that location as part of the collision.
Emergency response and investigation
Officers responding just after midnight found Moore unresponsive on the roadway. Emergency responders took him to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead. As of June 27, police said they had made no arrests and their Collision Investigation Squad was still investigating.
