Box truck driver kills motorcyclist on BQE ramp
A box truck driver and a 30-year-old motorcyclist met on a Brooklyn-Queens Expressway ramp. Only the rider left in a body bag, crushed and ejected while the truck crew walked away.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 30-year-old man riding a motorcycle went straight west on a Brooklyn-Queens Expressway ramp when he collided with a westbound box truck driven by another man. The rider was ejected and suffered crush injuries to his entire body and died at the scene. Police noted the motorcycle was demolished and the truck, a large box truck, had undercarriage damage. Two people in the truck were not reported injured.
