E-bike rider kills woman on Flushing
A 60-year-old woman getting off a vehicle on Flushing Avenue was hit and killed by an e-bike rider. The Monday morning crash also injured the 41-year-old rider and his passenger.
What We Know
According to the police report, a 41-year-old man riding an e-bike west on Flushing Avenue near North Elliott Place hit a 60-year-old woman as she was getting on or off another vehicle. She died from crush injuries to her head. The crash also injured the rider and his 39-year-old passenger, who were both ejected. The collision happened on a clear Monday morning on an arterial street.
