Overnight SUV Driver Kills Man In Queens Crosswalk
Before dawn on 102nd Street and 32nd Avenue, a driver going straight in an SUV hit two men in a marked crosswalk, killing one and leaving the other unconscious with crush injuries.
What We Know
According to the police report, a driver heading south on 102nd Street hit two male pedestrians who were crossing in a marked crosswalk at 32nd Avenue overnight on Jan. 1. One pedestrian sustained crush injuries to his entire body and died. The second, a 24-year-old man, was recorded as unconscious with crush injuries. A parked SUV was also damaged.
