Pickup driver killed cyclist at Brooklyn intersection, police said

Police told the New York Post that Paulina Tec Choc, 29, was stopped on her e-bike at Jamaica Avenue and Cypress Hills Street around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday when a driver in a 2006 Ford F-250 hit her from behind. Police said the hit threw her to the ground, the driver ran over her, and the driver fled. EMS took Tec Choc to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she died. The NYPD Highway District's Collision Investigation Squad was investigating, and the driver had not been caught by Wednesday.
