Law enforcement sources placed the crash on a curving stretch of the Jackie Robinson Parkway in Glendale, Queens, between Exit 3 at Cypress Hills Street and Exit 4 at Forest Park Drive and Myrtle Avenue. QNS described several bends in this stretch, with Cypress Hills Cemetery on both sides.

Paramedics took the rider to Brookdale.

Officers from the 104th Precinct, the Fire Department and NYPD Highway Patrol responded with EMS units. Paramedics took the rider to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
