Two women driving SUVs collided at Rockaway Fwy and Beach 47th. Both drivers were hurt, along with a teen passenger riding through the Friday evening rain.
According to the police report, a westbound SUV driver going straight on Rockaway Freeway and an eastbound SUV driver turning left at Beach 47th Street collided Friday evening. Both drivers, ages 41 and 21, were recorded as injured, including a head injury and internal complaints. A 14-year-old rear passenger in one SUV was also listed as injured.
