   Police said a driver in a white BMW SUV hit Diana Rolon, 60, on Decker Avenue in Port Richmond and fled; Bruce Arneaud was later charged with leaving the scene.
   Diana Rolon, a 60-year-old Staten Island mother, was at a yard sale near her home on Father’s Day when police said a driver in a white BMW SUV headed south on Decker Avenue hit her and fled toward Post Avenue. Family members said she had gone to her car for cash while shopping for items connected to her son’s graduation celebration. Rolon suffered severe head trauma and fractures, underwent emergency brain surgery at Richmond University Medical Center, and died days later after doctors declared her brain dead. Police later arrested Bruce Arneaud, 28, and charged him with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death; the Daily News reported that he pleaded not guilty and was released without bail.

   Police said a 22-year-old driver was heading south in a 2014 Audi Q5 near South Avenue and Forest Avenue on Staten Island just before 2 p.m. Jan. 4 when he hit Jean Victorin as he crossed midblock. Emergency responders took Victorin, 66, to Richmond University Hospital with a head injury; police said his condition worsened and he died Jan. 11. Police said the driver remained at the scene and was not arrested while the investigation continued.
