   A driver making a left turn on Hylan Boulevard failed to yield and hit a 32-year-old pedestrian crossing with the signal. She suffered a leg fracture and dislocation.
   According to the police report, a 47-year-old driver in an SUV was making a left turn at Hylan Boulevard and Ross Avenue on Feb. 18, 2026 at 8:45 a.m. and hit a 32-year-old woman who was crossing with the signal at the intersection. Police recorded failure to yield right-of-way and driver inattention/distraction. The pedestrian suffered a knee/lower-leg/foot fracture and dislocation.

   A 14-year-old moped rider disregarded traffic control on Hylan Blvd at New Dorp Ln and hit a 61-year-old man working in the roadway. Police also recorded improper passing or lane use.
   According to the police report, a 14-year-old moped rider was making a left turn on Hylan Blvd at New Dorp Ln when the rider hit a 61-year-old pedestrian at the intersection. Police recorded traffic control disregarded and improper passing or lane use. The pedestrian reported a contusion (bruise) to the knee/lower leg/foot. The moped rider was listed as unlicensed.

   On Hylan Blvd at Adams Ave, a driver failed to yield and crashed into another driver’s car. A 37-year-old passenger reported back pain and nausea.
   According to the police report, a driver making a left turn failed to yield the right-of-way on Hylan Blvd at Adams Ave and hit another vehicle that was going straight. A 37-year-old woman riding as a front passenger reported back pain and nausea. A 43-year-old driver had an abrasion to the elbow, lower arm, or hand.    On Buel Ave after dark, police say driver inattention led to a crash between a pickup driver backing up and a sedan driver going straight. A 64-year-old driver reported a bleeding facial injury.
   According to the police report, the crash happened Friday at 8:35 p.m. on Buel Ave in Staten Island. Police recorded driver inattention/distraction for both drivers. A pickup-truck driver was backing up and collided with a sedan driver going straight. A 64-year-old woman listed as a driver was injured, with minor bleeding and a facial injury.

   Two SUV drivers met on a slick Clawson Street and one woman walked away with whiplash. Staten Island’s weekend slush turned another short trip into pain.
   According to the police report, two SUV drivers traveling west on Clawson Street near Beach Avenue crashed on a snowy Saturday afternoon, with pavement recorded as slippery. A 50-year-old woman driving one of the SUVs reported whiplash and a neck injury. Other occupants were listed; the report does not describe their injuries.
