   At 4:24 a.m. on Allison Avenue by Hylan Boulevard, a 17-year-old driver using a hand-held cell phone crashed into a parked sedan. The teen reported minor facial bleeding.
   According to the police report, a 17-year-old male driver was going straight on Allison Avenue near Hylan Boulevard around 4:24 a.m. on May 3, 2026, when he crashed into a sedan that was parked. Police recorded hand-held cell phone use and driver inattention/distraction. The driver was injured, with minor facial bleeding.    S RAILROAD AVE
   A pickup driver passed improperly and hit a 65-year-old scooter rider on S Railroad Avenue near Oak Avenue. Police also recorded following too closely.
   According to the police report, a 2022 pickup driver was going straight north on S Railroad Avenue at Oak Avenue when police recorded passing or lane usage improper and following too closely. The driver hit a NIU kick-scooter rider who was making a left turn. The 65-year-old rider suffered minor bleeding to the face and was conscious.
